In the post-war period, Carlton offered their customers levels of customization to their frames (lug styles and angles, braze ons, paint finishes) that would normally be associated only with small-scale builders, but did so at mass-market prices. They proved incredibly popular, and ride very well to this day. This Road Track model dates to the early 1950s, and has been refinished with a colourway inspired by the classic Castrol signage. Mudguard eyes on this one too, so good for a winter fixed set up.
